Boca Raton Florida BeachesBoca Raton, Florida features a beautiful beach and parents who are visiting with children will be pleased to know that Boca Raton provides lifeguards that patrol one and one-half miles of the beach. The "sections" of the beach, as they are known, that are lifeguard protected include South Beach Pavilion, South Beach Park, Spanish River Park and Red Reef Park. Some quick rules you should be aware of if you plan on enjoying a day at the beach in Boca Raton. First, no pets are allowed on the beach. This is to insure public safety and cleanliness. Also, if you plan on fishing directly on the beach, you must be sure not to do so in what are "designated swimming areas." The swim zones are the safest places on the beach to swim and are usually in effect between 9am and 5pm, although longer days in the summer may allow for extensions of designated swim areas. So, now that you are familiar with a few things about Boca Raton's beaches, don't forget to pack your cooler and wear plenty of sunscreen and make your way to one of these popular areas of the Boca Raton Beach: South Beach Park
