Anyone who loves the outdoors will absolutely love Gumbo Limbo Park in Boca Raton FL.   The park is located at Red Reef Park which is itself out on a barrier island between the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway.   The location of this Boca Raton park is perfect for viewing local plant life and marine animals such as manatee and sea turtles.   The park is located on A1A in Boca Raton.  Hours of operation are 9am to 4pm Monday through Saturday and Noon to 4pm on Sunday.

Boca Raton Dog Park

The Boca Raton Dog Park is a place where man's best friend can run wild & free!   Did you know that many people are now taking their dogs on vacation.  The number of hotels and motels that allow pets are continuing to grow.   If you are taking your dog to Boca Raton, then you'll be thrilled with this dog park.   There's plenty of trash cans and doggie bags to clean up after you pet.  The dog park is open every day from 7:30am til dark, except for Wednesday, when it opens at noon.

Sugar Sand Park

Boca Raton's Sugar Sand Park is a great place to bring the entire family.  If you have young children, they will love to see a Boca Raton one-of-a-kind:  the Atala Butterfly.  These butterflies are plentiful in Sugar Sand Park.    The park also features a science playground, children's Exploratorium, and a community center.

Spanish River Park

Spanish River Park opens every day at 8am and remains open until sunset.  It is a great location for having a picnic.   The city of Boca Raton also allows youth camping in the park under certain city guidelines.    Viewing the wildlife in the park and spending an afternoon fishing are some of the great things to do in this Boca Raton park.
